Wow, what amazing storytelling! I couldn't stop reading this Rebecca.

This gave me flashbacks of our Mediterranean upbringing where all issues were discussed at the dinner table. Half Greek and half Macedonian backgrounds always sorted it out in the kitchen's battlefield.

I still recall dad eating every home-cooked meal with yummy vienna bread with each chomp. Carbs with carbs, who'd figure! I can still taste smell those delicious Kalamata olives and the Bulgarian Fetta cheese.

These dinner settings will remain forever engrained in my mind and I'm glad we got to eat together as a family unit each and every evening. Even though I thought we were all neurotic weirdos, I wouldn’t change a thing looking back. I miss those days.

Thanks for taking me back to so many memories, smells, aromas, tastes, bickering, laughter, loudness, and most of all , LOVE 🙏
