Limited marketing budgets and resources make it difficult to compete with established authors backed by major publishing houses.

And, the sheer volume of books being self-published every day makes it challenging for indie authors to stand out and capture readers' attention.

Building a loyal fan base and gaining critical recognition requires persistence, strategic promotion, and a stroke of luck.

Despite these hurdles, passionate indie authors continue to write and publish, driven by their love for storytelling and the hope of discovering their own path to success.
