I've always believed in interacting with my readers who've taken the time out to lend their attention to my work. It's common courtesy and shows respect.

What I find amusing is that so many of these writers with six-digit follower counts, often receive less than 20 or less than even 10 comments on their posts. And their clap counts, vanity metrics or not, are also often in the three-digit range.
