Coach Tony / Ev I guess my question is, why would I want to come to Medium to read writing by writers who are writing with a book in mind (e.g., Table of Contents approach) ? How does that type of writing make the platform subscription-worthy ? Writing that way may potentially benefit the writer (e.g., a potential book deal) but how exactly does it entice me to want to become a paying platform member (i.e. subscriber)? I just don’t see the incentive to pay for a membership that caters for this type of content creation. With all due respect, I’d rather go to a bookstore, buy my preferred book written by an established authority, and treat/read each chapter as an article. (Just thinking like someone who has not yet become a Medium subscriber)...And my 2 cents on the recent happenings around the Medium-owned pubs, whose content I love(d), is that they just weren’t "relational" enough ---- something the other remaining pubs on the platform should be thinking about, if you know what I mean...Always listen when you 'speak' Coach 🤜🤛
