I always enjoy reading your work Joe!

Violence in sports, particularly in ice hockey, has been a topic of concern for many years. While physicality is an inherent part of the game, there's been an increase in violent behavior and dangerous plays on the ice.

This can be attributed to various factors, including the pressure to win, player aggression, and the physical nature of the sport.

While leagues have taken steps to curb violence, such as introducing stricter penalties and suspensions, there's still much work to be done to ensure player safety.

Education and awareness about the dangers of violence in sports is crucial, as well as promoting sportsmanship and fair play.

Ultimately, it's up to players, coaches, and leagues to work together to create a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone involved in sports, both on and off the ice.

Pass the beer nuts.... :-)
