I actually canned my LinkedIn account some time ago. Not saying that it’s not a great networking site for many, but it never helped me land the jobs I’ve sought. I’ve always had to do it myself and I’ve always been fortunate enough to slot into the role I’ve chased. Which is A-OK with me.

I’ve worked in HR/OHS most of my working life and one thing I’ve learned, at least for me anyway, is that the words “job” and “career” mean the same thing.
