In the digital age, getting your content to go viral gives a huge boost to your brand. People love to share and repost great content they find online, whether it’s an informative article, a funny video, or a useful infographic.

If virality is something you aspire to achieve as a content creator you need not look too far. I could easily name a handful of writers on this platform who all seem to have one exceptional thing in common. “What’s that?” you ask — the ability to consistently produce viral content. So, how do they do it?

While there’s no magic formula that can guarantee your content will go viral, there are many ways to increase the odds of having it widely shared. Here are some tips for creating content that’s more likely to go viral.

Understand what makes people tick

To get content to go viral, you have to understand how the human brain functions. You’ll need to understand the basics of human psychology and your target audience at a deeper level.

If you want content that engages people emotionally, you need to know what motivates them, what their fears are, and what makes them happy.
