Helena Christensen once said, "Denmark is like a secret little place with its own special language."

They say "Denmark is like a big family of people."

We've had family and friends visit Down Under from Europe (Greece, Macedonia, etc) and they've all said that all we have going for us is the opportunities to make $$. What they said we lack is an enjoyment of daily communal life. They're used to open market places and socializing of an evening, regardless of having to work the following day.

At least we get to see them when they're holidaying :)
