From what I've seen, heard and read to date on Mastodon:
On the positive side, it provides enhanced user privacy and control through its open-source, federated structure. This allows for customization of instances and resistance to centralized censorship. And, Mastodon's ad-free environment offers a more user-focused experience, promoting organic content and conversations.
On the downside however, Mastodon faces challenges with its limited user base and fractured nature, leading to reduced content diversity and potential echo chambers. Furthermore, its decentralized model can make moderation more difficult, potentially allowing harmful content to persist in certain instances.
Any validity to any of this Rui ?
