Even the BMI is a “furphy”!
The more muscle mass one has the higher their BMI.
Being an ex-bodybuilder, I remember once having my BMI tip me over into the so-called “overweight” range. Yet I looked great, better than the Dr! 😃
I haven’t used the scales in years, I use the mirror.
The scales absolutely reveal weight lost (mostly often fluid/water) but never “fat lost”.
