As we continue to advance in medicine and technology, the human lifespan has steadily increased over time. While this may seem like a positive development, it's come with its own set of challenges.

With longer lives comes a weariness of life, as people experience more losses and face more challenges.

As people age, people witness the passing of loved ones and experience declines in physical and mental health.

These cumulative experiences can leave many elderly feeling drained and weary, despite the joys and accomplishments that they may also have experienced throughout their long lives.

Thus, weariness of life has become an increasingly common price of living longer.
