Always an educational and inspirational experience to read your work Raj!

Cognitive distortions are errors in thinking that can lead to negative emotions, stress, and behavior. To avoid cognitive distortions, it's important to recognize when they're occurring and challenge them with evidence-based reasoning.

One way to do this is by practicing mindfulness, which helps to increase awareness of thoughts and emotions in the present moment.

Another approach is to seek out new experiences and perspectives that challenge your beliefs, and to stay open-minded when faced with different opinions or ideas.

Additionally, engaging in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) can provide a structured framework for identifying and changing cognitive distortions, leading to improved mental health and well-being.
