A thought-provoking read Dave !

I’m reminded of a few nuggets:

“Remembering that I’ll be dead soon is the most important tool I’ve ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life.” (Steve Jobs).

“The problem is that in the quest for ‘what makes me feel good’ there’s no finish-line. It’s a pie-eating contest and first prize is more pie.” (J. Walker Smith).

We get hung up on the heights of success/satisfaction we see in the media and forget that it’s our personal definition of success/satisfaction that matters.

We’re all on different paths, and I have evolved more and more towards the path described by George Valiant, “The only thing that really matters in life are your relationships to other people”.
